The Precision Forging process used to create the 588 Forged wedge ensures extremely high levels of manufacturing consistency, to offer all golfers improved feel with less vibration. The 2012 588 wedge features Cleveland's latest Tour Zip Grooves and Laser Milled technology that help maximise spin. Each new 588 Forged wedge will benefit from a Tour Concept steel shaft that features a unique shaft stiffness suited to wedge play. Developed in partnership with both Cleveland Golf and True Temper, the Tour Concept shaft has a less-active tip promoting a more penetrating ball flight, with increased feel and spin control.
